Update: 30/08/2020

As per NOC team visit on 25/08/2020 we would like to inform you that ABZ SCHOOL meets all ADEK Standards and policies for school reopening on 30/08/2020

Preparing for school reopening on 30/08/2020

Dear Parents,
As we near the first day of school on August 30, we want to reassure you of the
precautionary measures implemented at schools to ensure the safety of our
community.
In the last few weeks, ADEK has provided strict implementation guidelines to all
our schools, followed by inspections by our team to ensure that our schools are
compliant with the measures outlined by the authorities and ready for a safe
reopening.
We understand that many parents have concerns about the first week, and
preparing their kids to transition back to classrooms. Please be assured that your
schools will direct you on everything you need to know including designated
areas to drop off and pick up your children.
For the safety of our students and educators, we ask that you remain vigilant and
wear your mask and maintain social distancing at all times inside the school
premises. Please note that access to school buildings and classrooms will be
restricted, and parents wishing to enter for specific reasons (e.g. temporarily
accompanying a young child with separation anxiety) will have to show a valid
COVID-19 test (72-hour validity).
We would also like to remind you that you have the option of full-time distance
learning for your child for the upcoming term should you wish to take it, and that
your selection on which model your child will be enrolled in must be finalized by
the end of the 2nd week of physical schooling.

Parent choice to physically attend school:

as indicated in previous communications, the learning mode for the upcoming term (distance learning or physical attendance to school) is now optional for parents.
The will allow Parents at least 2 weeks of flexibility before you ask them to commit to a learning mode for the term. We need to be conscious of the conflicting needs of parents and remain as flexible as possible without it affecting school operations and quality of learning. If parents choose to send their child to school physically, they will need to sign a declaration they will not do so if their child displays any COVID19 symptoms. you need to download it and send it back to Covid19@abzschool.com
